All manuscripts submitted to Music Cognition undergo a rigorous double-blind peer review process. Each submission is evaluated by at least two independent reviewers with appropriate expertise.

 The main evaluation criteria include:

  • Originality
  • Clarity of presentation
  • Theoretical contribution.

The peer review form is available in both PDF and editable formats.

 The journal applies a double-blind peer review process. The average review period is 4–6 weeks.
