Music Cognition, a peer-reviewed journal published by the “Gheorghe Dima” National Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca, invites the submission of research articles for its forthcoming issue. The journal welcomes contributions from researchers, scholars, and doctoral students addressing theoretical, empirical, and interdisciplinary perspectives in the field of music cognition.
Suggested topics include (but are not limited to):
- music cognition and auditory perception
- psychology of music and emotional processes in musical experience
- musical memory and learning
- creativity and compositional processes
- cognitive aspects of musical performance
- music, language and meaning
- computational and digital approaches to music cognition
- interdisciplinary perspectives (musicology, psychology, neuroscience, philosophy, education)

All submitted manuscripts undergo a peer review process. The journal is indexed in CEEOL (Central and Eastern European Online Library) and RILM Abstracts of Music Literature and is classified by CNCS (Category B).
